You are invited to take part in a research study of victims of intimate partner violence (IPV). The purpose of this study is to examine the behaviors associated with IPV, focusing on the Emotional Intelligence levels of IPV victims. This information will assist in providing interventions and training based on the specific emotional needs of IPV victims. The research will be conducted by, Terri Ratliff, a doctoral student at Walden University. The researcher is inviting men and women, age 18 years and older, who lives in the United States and have been involved in an intimate relationship that was violent. Participant must be out of the abusive relationship for six months or more. This form is part of a process called “informed consent” to allow you to understand this study before deciding whether to take part.
Are you a survivor of intimate partner violence (IPV)? Would you be willing to volunteer to be part of an anonymous research? The study can be done 100% online from anywhere. You are invited to participate in a study if you are:
- 18 years and older,
- Out of an abusive romantic relationship for more than six months and,
- Live live in the United States.
