Perry County Judge Toby Davis and City of Perryville Mayor John Roland, recognizing the important work done by domestic violence programs have proclaimed October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month. As Judge Davis, seated, and Mayor Roland sign the proclamation they are joined by board members and staff of The Safe Place, Inc., the domestic violence program and shelter serving Perry and Conway County. Domestic violence thrives when we are silent; but if we take a stand and work together, we can end domestic violence. Throughout the month of October, you can help The Safe Place to raise awareness about domestic violence and join in the effort to end violence.
