November 30, 2021 has been set aside as a day that is dedicated to “radical generosity around the world”. (givingtuesday.org) It was established in 2012 as a day to simply do good for others. Anyone who wants to give and do good for others can participate! Whether you choose to give of your time or your money, it is a great way to celebrate with radical generosity.
We at The Safe Place encourage everyone to participate in ‘Giving Tuesday’! And as an organization that focuses on daily giving and pouring into our local communities here in Conway County, Perry County, and beyond, we would love to invite you to serve along beside us and give with and through The Safe Place! We provide immediate shelter for victims of domestic abuse, saving lives and changing the direction and dynamic of families. We provide help with Orders of Protection, Safety Planning, community resources, and so much more.
We are dedicated to educating both victims of abuse and our community about domestic violence to break the cycle of abuse in our area. We provide education to our children – from preschool through college – to stop abuse before it starts. We educate students on dating violence, bullying, kindness, and so much more!
